OK, so Paso Robles, CA is right in the center of the Central Coast wine region & our annual wine festival is a BIG DEAL around here! I'm posting the link at the bottom in case you'd like to check it out.

Our small town atmosphere is in high-gear this week in preparation for the big event. We were very bummed that we had to turn down an invitation to show our art at Red Soles Winery this weekend yet spending time with our two grandsons took a priority seat. ^_^ Thank goodness, Red Soles was kind enough to invite us to come out to their place and show on June 30th instead and we're looking forward to joining them at that time.

Like I said above, our little town is bustling! Shop owners are expediting orders to be received to re-stock their shops for the visitors that will be arriving. Hotels/restaurants are gearing up to serve extra food & booking musicians for live music.

Paso Robles has a large old-fashioned park (with a band gazebo, a fountain & a Carnegie Library-turned local history museum) in the center of our downtown. Huge old Oak trees grace the entire park and most of our community events take place here, whether we are celebrating the return of a local soldier, a festival of some sort or summer concerts in the park.

The historial bricked Paso Robles Inn sits on the west side of the park where guests sit on the upper outside balcony enjoying their evening wine while watching over the town's activity.

Our library sits to the south, a gorgeous working art studio is to the east and wonderful restaurants/clothing/shoe shops sits to the north. It truly is a magical place, especially in the evenings when the little white lights gracing the trees turn on.

If you can make it out this weekend, please join us for the 30th Annual Wine Fest & partake of some of California's TASTIEST wines! ^_^

Cheers!
Diane
